Is McCain's Citizenship in Jeopardy?

According to www.rawstory.com a federal judge has been asked to determine if Republican John McCain, who was born in the Panama Canal Zone in 1936, meets the legal test to qualify for President of the United States.

The Constitution requires that only "natural born" citizens hold the nations highest office. However, the Panama Canal Zone was a U.S. territory when McCain was born. His father was stationed there by the Navy.

A complaint was filed by Andrew Aames, 52, a lawyer interested in local politics. He said he had no political stake in the outcome, but he said a court ruling would clear up any confusion for voters.
