Voters Are Opening Their Economic Eyes

Hillary ClintonHillary ClintonIt seems as though one of the biggest issues on the voter's mind is the struggling economy. Clinton and Obama are trying to get this message across, especially in states like Wisconsin and Ohio. According to CNN.com, Clinton is stressing economic policies that focus on programs to help families burdened by high oil costs, health care costs, and student loans.

Obama is also doing his part to reach into the homes of the middle class. When refering to the wealthy during the Bush administration, he states they "made out like bandits." Obama, if elected, is confident he can provide a tax relief to middle class families.

Republican, John McCain, struck a similar chord with the people by using the slogan "no new taxes." McCain is in favor of lowering interest rates, taxes, and a decrease of corporate tax rates. The Arizona Senator, also believes the government needs to stop the out-of-control spending, which should be on the top of the list when dealing with the economy.

Each candidate seems to have their own approach to revive the country's economy and put some ease into people's minds who fear a recession. Is there a particular plan by the candidates that is best suited for the economy's problems? Which candidate has the most potential to deliver on their promises? Time for a change or is the economy really that bad?
