Worst President- G.W. Bush not even close!
Criticism of our president has been very present, especially over the war in Iraq, yet his approval rating is much higher than congress. It is true; he may not be the greatest public speaker, but since 9-11, our country has enjoyed six years of security. After all, the citizens of the United States elected him for eight years. In a matter of weeks a dangerous dictatorship was toppled and oppressed people were free. It is far too early to say the Iraq invasion was a failure.
President Bush may not be liked by over of the U.S. population; so let's take a look at one of our most beloved presidents, Abraham Lincoln. President Lincoln was hated by southern Democrats and many of his own party in the North. Newspapers and magazines depictdd Lincoln as an illiterate baboon. Does this sound familiar?
Bush's Democratic vilifyers are coming from leaders of a party whose last occupant of the White House used the oval office as a brothel and continuously lied under oath to the American people.
Than who is the worst president, how about James Buchanan? In his inaugural speech, he stated that the slavery issue was of "little practical importance." Two days later the Dread Scott decision was announced in which ruled that people of African descent, whether or not they were slaves, could never be citizens of the United States and Congress had no authority to prohibit slavery in federal territories. In addition, his administration was troubled by the Panic of 1857- a sudden downturn in the U.S. economy. Before he left office, the confederacy was formed. Historians voted Buchanan's failure to deal with teh state's secession the worst presidential mistake ever made.
I am only implying that future historians will treat George Walker Bush much kinder than our biased media and radical Democratic elites who rule their party.
